Ask us more questions

  • is Delphi a regular chorus group?
No! We will opperate more like a production team, meaning stricter deadlines and higher quality expectaions, as well as constant changes and improvement on the way things are run through member feedback.
  • On your home page you say /Audial/ and visual, shouldnt it be audio?"
In terms of propper english, Audial is the correct word (audial meaning 'relating to audio)because the team itself is not a sound. Just like visual ('relationg to vision') is correct because the team itself is not a visual asset.
  • What music genre does Delphi focus on?
We do not have a specific genre focus and will tackle anything and everything voted on by members.
  • How long Are Delphis deadlines?
Vocalist deadlines will be 1-2 weeks with staff deadlines to be set when we have full teams and negotiable within reason. We also expect to have overlapping deadlines and teams working in close knit with each other to get releases ready
  • How often do you plan or releasing content?
    Aproximately once a month
  • I signed up to be a member on the site, why arent i a member?"
The only people whos site membership will be accepted are those who are cast as members!
  • Who can audition for Delphi?
Anyone can auditon to be a part of Delphi. We do not descriminate against anyone of any - Gender (or lack there of) - Sexuality - Nationality - Ethnicity - or Religion and managers will not tollerate descrimination with in the group.
  • Why are Staff and vocalist auditions separate?
Auditions are separated because we belive that skills should be considered separately. i.e - someone should not get a spot as a vocalist just because they can animate/edit videoes
  • What if i audition as both Staff and a Vocalist?
If you choose to submit an audition as both staff and vocalist you may still get cast as vocalist OR staff (or there is a chance you will get cast as both)" In other words auditioning as a staff member does not affect your chances of getting cast as a vocalist and visa versa.
  • Do you accept Vocaloid/Utau users, MMD creators or dancers?"
    As of now, no.
  • How will auditions be run?
Auditions will be run through a 2 stage process. The first stage, being the initial auditions, will be open to anyone and everyone to submit audition. Staff will be cast and notified after this stage and brought into the Discord server. From there, vocalists with suitable quality will go through a Call Back stage where they will be asked to record a set of specific lines to go through a blend test, (to be conducted by the audio team) The best team from there will be cast and all members (including staff) will be publically announced
  • how many members are you accepting?
This is currently undisclosed (so to prevent anyone being disapointed if the number goes down), and may change depending on the number of auditions recieved.
  • How long should audition clips befor vocalists? and how old?
Recordings should be a minimum of 30 seconds with no upper time limit and no older than 3 months old. the newer the better.
  • What if I can do part of a role but not all of it (eg. i can line art but not sketch)?
Only audition for roles you are capable of completing without assistance. Once members are cast they will be asked if they can assist with any roles they are not cast as in an emergency.
